What we look for on a LaCoste roof

On a typical LaCoste inspection we check every slope, ridge, hip, valley, pipe boot, wall flashing, and chimney counterflashing. Soft decking underfoot gets marked and photographed. Granule loss, bruise marks that show as dark spots when shingles are flexed, and creased tabs along the windward edge all go into the report.
