About This Project

This stone and stucco home in Garden Ridge has hip roofs and a chimney, with big oaks all around it.

We tore the old shingles off down to the decking, dried the roof in with synthetic underlayment and installed new Malarkey Vista AR shingles in Antique Brown, with hip and ridge caps. The photos below follow the job from bare decking to new shingles.

Underlayment and Malarkey bundles

Synthetic underlayment went down, and the Malarkey Vista AR bundles were staged along the ridges. The label on the bundle ends reads Antique Brown.
