Southeast Bexar, open country

Elmendorf sits on the southeast edge of Bexar County, with some addresses spilling toward Wilson County. US 181 and FM roads connect ranch tracts, older streets near the railroad, and newer homes on larger lots. The City of Elmendorf handles building permits inside city limits; county rules can apply just outside the line. We check the parcel before work starts. City licensing and contractor registration where required are what we follow — not a Texas statewide roofing license claim. HOA approval may still apply in newer subdivisions.

How a job usually runs

What we look for on a Elmendorf roof

On a typical Elmendorf inspection we check every slope, ridge, hip, valley, pipe boot, wall flashing, and chimney counterflashing. Soft decking underfoot gets marked and photographed. Granule loss, bruise marks that show as dark spots when shingles are flexed, and creased tabs along the windward edge all go into the report.
